Unreliable POS American cars.......

Hopefully I can keep my truck that long. Btw that reminds me. Wasnt there a user on here that had an '01 Lima Powerd Ranger w/ over 300,000 on the clock?

Cool. The van still looks pretty good, too. I hope mine makes it; I'm just over 360,000 now.

talk about ford pride
i might have to show my shop class this one
there all chevy boys, dodge guys, or rice burners
i love ford

Yep, I can believe it.

Our AAFES van is a 2006 Ford E-150. It alreadys has over 100,000miles in just over 1 year. And its finally got a fresh set of tires. Michelin LTX last a good dang long time.

my 63 f-100 with its 223 ci 6 had 329k on it, with the original engine.

now it did need rings and valve guide but it still had all its power

I have 326,876 on my 4.0. The only thing that I have done is replace one head and the oil every 3000 miles.

I have a 2001 ranger, std. cab, long bed, xlt. It has the 2.5L I-4, with a 5spd tranny. Wanna know how many miles it has on it,it has 536,697:icon_hornsup:. So to all u chevy owners out there :taunt: yours will never make that!

well my point being he's driven it for 10yrs straight, all across the country with just the regular recommended servicing done to it.

Yeah pretty good but 760,000 klm, converts down to right about 472,300 miles. Keep on driven it.

That is quite amazing, i believe that you can get a car to go that far if you take care of it.

we're just showing off :yahoo:

God bless him.My '02 is a POS with only 84k on the clock.I love my ranger but despise my van.

a guy i worked for had a diseal truck that had rolled over twice and is still going today its a late early 90's model

i had to think about this one for a minute. its a late 1997 and earlier model.

My friend has a diesel mercedes that has just under 560K miles on it. mercedes told her family that it is one of the three highest mileage mercedes out there. they dont treat it special either. just the standard maintenance.

my uncle had a 1993 ranger that he sold to a friend to use as farm truck when it had 280K miles on it. that was over 5 years ago and it is still being used.
