ok i have a 92 ford ranger 2.3 the engine will trun over just fine but will not start i have fuel perssure at the rail but the fuel is not getting in the moter and i am not getting spark. the crank sensor is brand new , and the dis box is only a few months old. i have ohmed out the harness and well i get a low reading where i should and i high on where i should
any help would be nice this truck is my dalie driver and i need it back

if you have pressuer at the rail and not thu the injectors.. sounds like the drivers in the ECU are fried....

get a Noid light set to see if you are getting a pluse to the injector.

howdy, and yes im a new guy, but im dealing with a similar situation, but my problem is not enough pressure, so im changing the pressure regulator, have you tried that?

ok my problem was a bad auto zone part ( the crank postion sensor)its running fine now and a fuel regulator should help or fix your problem assuming you fuel pump is good

pressure regulator didnt help, when i turn the key on i hear the pomp turn on too, and now ive noticed that one of the coil packs isnt getting power, and i replaced it with a new one.... i havent tested the crank positioning sensor yet, is there a way i could test it?
