Wiring the high pressure fuel pump

If that one wire is a pink with a black stripe and the other wire is solid black, yes that is correct. Just in case the picture I was looking at was reversed, the pink/black terminal should have a + sign embossed in the white plastic above the stud and below the stud.
 
I give it a 50/50 chance of being right...

Yes you looked at it right but it was just completely blank.
