I followed the great instruction https://therangerstation.com/tech_library/phantomwipers.shtml to fix my intermittent wiper problem (wipers stopped mid wipe when using intermittent mode). Worked great! Problem is the darn spring sprung out and cannot for the life of me figure out how the skinny spring goes back in.

Anyone put this back together before with a little insight?

Thanks!

Time to get a big magnet out and start sweeping. Hopefully you can find that missing part. I work outside in the grass and gravel a lot so I know how frustrating it is to lose something or drop a screw in the grass. The cheap $10 magnet roller has saved a few things from nuts/bolts in the grass or gravel to earrings in the pool. If it's brass or stainless then good luck.

Yeah it was one of those tiny brass end caps on the spring from the pic. I just ordered a new switch of ebay for $20. Sheesh. Hopefully this helps someone else.
