I have a stock 1997 Ranger Reg. Cab. I just got some Alloy Mazda wheels from my dad to put on it. They are 15x7, with a 4.5" backspace I think. The question is if I got Goodyear Wrangler Radial that are 235/75r/15's would anyone know if they would fit or rub? On the fitment page it says they will work but I'm not sure. The guy at the tire place said they might not fit, but I wanted to check with you guys and see if anyone had any luck. I think he is trying to sell me different /expensive tires. The wranglers were only $75 and the others he quoted were over $100
Thanks in advance!!
Craig

235's will fit fine on a 97, even if its 2wd. and fi the wheels are stock mazda wheels then the BS will be 3.75 in aluminum rims

Thanks for the quick response!! I think they are stock alloys but I just measured the BS and they measured at 4.5. I guess I measured right, from the back of the mount to the lip of the wheel? I'll guess I'll take them down there and put them on!! Have you heard anything bad about those tires?
Thanks again!

the wranglers are good tires, they are just being discontinued, so thats why there on the cheap

I see. Thanks for your help!
