Like the title says I found a decent deal on some leafs just not sure if it matters what year the leafs come out of.

The 2002 is an Explorer Sport, correct? The four door Explorer switched over to IRS (using coil springs) in 2002. Also make sure they are steel leaf springs in that 2002, there were a few years that had a fiberglass monoleaf used, not sure which years though.
