I'm a Evaluation Driver for Roush Industries so im in them and other makes of course but what i do and report on has an effect on the things that go on new stuff or change things on em.

I'll bite, I work for AGC Automotive America I make the auto glass for Ford as well as every other major car company. I right now am working on the line that makes the rear fixed glass for the four and five door 2012 focus. The line next to it makes the same glass for the edge, and the front line makes the windsheilds for the focus. The focus is one of the handfull of cars we actually make all the glass for. We also make replacement glass for body shops and glass companys, and Yes if I need glass for my car or truck and they have it in stock they will give to me for free or next to nothing. Just one of the perks.

Yea I didn't realize how much glass AGC made till I worked there I now look for the AGC automotive on the glass logo everytime i'm in a different vehicle.

My son owns 3 dealerships . One in Myrtle Beach,one in Raliegh and one in Norfolk Va.
I drive a Mercedes as does my wife. I also have a 1955tbird and just recently acquired 86 ranger.

I've been working in Ford Dealerships for 37 years. Remember tune-up in a can? Contained plugs points condenser and cam lube. Some of the part numbers still started with the letter "B" which was the 50s decade.

I am a dealership tech. Suspension and Diesel specialty, but certified in everything except auto trans. I have 2 years left on my tenure Master tech and 5 more after that to Senior Master.

It must be different in the US. We don't have anyone in our shop who is master/senior master techs...
