Who is stuck working today?

When my kids were little, I worked all the OT offered me. I stopped when the kids grew up. I used to work in the phone business, that's a 24x7 operation. So to all you guys working, Cheers.

So is insurance. Everybody else gets to go out on their boats and motorcycles and I'm stuck inside having to insure them. Grrr...

i work at a walmart deli 40 miles from home... i had to work from 10-7pm that day, guess people need there lunch meat on labor day... i didn't get paid extra....

That's total bulls&*$. You should always get time and a half for working a Federal holiday.
