My snorkel us a Afari Snorkel built for a.... I believe series 60 Toyota FJ.
There's a stirrup in the tech library on using them. The only thing I did different was to use a rubber elbow off the filter box, then a 6" rubber connector and attached the reducer to that. It fit nice and didn't bend the snorkel hose at zn odd angle and make it rub on the fender.

i have a 3inch body and a 2 inch suspension and mine clears my 33x12.5x15s no sweat. a little rubbing on the passenger side only because that plastic shit got knocked out of place when that bitch ran a red light and hit me. but other than that its good. i have purchased a 4 inch suspension by rough country. havent had the money to get it installed yet, only one place around here will do it. a lot of other places wont due to "safety hazzards" bunch of b.s.

It would be cheaper to do it by yourself, but it's lengthy, and not quite a safe DIY.. but I just finished helping my dad put one in on his 95 ranger, and tossed some 33 toyo open country's, and it looks sick. The ride ain't bad either.

i would like to do it myself but the truck is my only vehicle and trail city 4x4 is in the next town over and they can do it in a day. mine would be a pain in the ass bc its 20 yrs old, got some pretty rusty bolts, and at my friends shop they dont have spring compressors. also, i just dont have the time. work all day and now it gets dark at 6:30 which blows dick. o well.

here is my 88 4 inch rough country lift and a 3 inch body lift also you dont need spring compressors well i rented them and didnt need them this was my first lift kit to put on and me and a buddie did it in one night just need a impact tourch to heat some things and basic hand tools

3" B/L and 2" cheapo lift (shackles and spacers) clearing 32x11.50 tires. I had to trim a tiny bit but it makes a great weekend warrior.

i put my 6 inch on with the help of one of my buddys and it took us 2 days in my driveway. its not hard if you know what your getting into.
