im sitting here wondering, cause a few people that give advice about lift trucks dont seem to have one.....who here actually wheels there trucks regularly, screw it, ill make it a poll too

my POS b2 has seen 1 trail mile for every 10 road miles since i purchased it. it dosent have a "lift" its got 2 inch blocks and 2 inch spacers up front. i run tsls and soon to have 31 spline 8.8 with a mini spool and a d35 both with 456s (they are sitting in the garage being assembled). the majority of those road miles are from driving to were ever i am wheeling.

I usually only see my Ranger on the weekends...

Really the only time I go mudding with my truck anymore is when it coinsides with something else I am doing, like fencing, hauling hay or deer hunting. That we have had a drought for the last couple of summers doesn't help much either. I don't want to push my poor little 2.8 too far and break it until its replacement is ready to go. I don't like wheeling my F-150 much because it is so big, and I am still paying for it.

I don't really go looking for trouble, but I don't go too far out of my way to avoid it.

at least every other sunday for me, it would be every sunday but i am divorced with two kids so i got my kids every other weekend.

I used to wheel quite a bit until the mudhole I went to was bought up for purposes of construction. There's so much going on, every piece of property that has grass on it is being bought up for development. 10 years ago there were trees everywhere, now all we have are the few tiny ones that line the road medians. Guess I'm a weekend wheeler forced into early retirement.

Before I tore it apart to rebuild it, the only asphalt it saw was to and from the trailer to the trail. She isn't even registered anymore (couldn't get it to pass PA inspection...too tall, not enough flare, no exhaust, no windows)

You should add an option for 'Few Times A Year'. That's where I would fall in. I'd have to travel to an off-road park to get any legal wheeling in and I can only afford to do it a few times a year.

cant seem to figure out how to change poll options

I am a street queen. My Ranger does an execllent job of hauling my drums, minibikes, or gocarts. Or hauling stuff when I move (about every 2 years.. which I am about due) I am not too much of a mudder, I like speed, not bumps and sticks. :)

My uncle does have a dune buggy that is a blast to ride in the woods (mixing speed and bumps), but it does so much better than my Ranger on stock suspension ever could on such terrain. Not to mention how frequently I would get stuck, god forbid I need to drive this thing in the snow!

when i got my truck i had 2 friends with 4x4s, but one sold his to get "something good on gas" and the other stopped going wheeling after a few minor incidents.

so now i just go in the fall while hunting.

Theres an off road park jsut 30 mins from me, but i'm not going without a buddy with another truck. that place has been torn up by people with those custom built non-street legal bogger machine type deals (not sure what they are called). Alot of is is not stock truck safe. there are ruts and holes that would swallow my truck.

I dont really understand "trail bitch"...
I *have* a dedicated truck for wheeling. That is my B2. Lifted, badass bumpers, winch, and loaded full of gear. ( to the point of being over the wimpy GVW, not that I have stock springs, or axles.)
I take this truck out as much as I can,(between repairs, lol) I used to quad but it has lost it's appeal, as well as losing riding buddies.
My DailyDriver is a 99' Dakota right now, and I just dont' love it....

agreed.

When I get my BII done, it will see more off road than my Ranger did.
