I have some serious rear wheel hop when I hit some serious bumps in the road. What shocks are you using and did it take the hoop out?Can I just replace the rear shocks to stop the hop?I'm leaning towards getting these,Rancho RS5000, anyone else uses them. Thanks !

time for traction bars. I'll try and find a link

edit: I just realized it isn't off acceleration. haha. try slowing down. any pickup will bounce all over the place on bumps. New shocks might help.

I'm not speeding just doing the speed limit. The hop appears to be excessive.I had an old 79 custom deluxe and I don't remember any hop when I hit the road bumps.

Go with a set of Bilsteins intead of Rancho's. I believe the Bilsteins everyone gets are the ones that come on the FX4's stock. Traction bars would be a nice add on too.

At the very least, check your shocks. One may have seized or getting to that point.

I have got the same thing happening, after i put on my Rough Country lift. It did it at normal speeds on the road. The back nearly kicked me off the highway going over an overpass. I removed the blocks and put SJ leafs and full SJ suspension and still same thing. New shocks, same thing. When i added weight in the winter it seemed to help but that is an ass-patch for the problem. Im with ya buddy. Have not found a solution.

Have you tried the traction bar I'm not sure if the SJ suspension includes it? I see a couple guys on here are recommending that.

Make sure you shocks are right side up. Mine have been resivour up and i just flipped them. Now it rides great.
