What's you gas mileage??

We bought my wife a 2024 Ranger FX4 with the 2.3 engine. It's her work truck. She's the only one who drives it. It just turned 1,200 miles. The dash shows it is getting 24.1 on this tank of fuel. (We've not put pen to paper to check it). What is everybody getting ??

If you check fuelly.com, and input ford ranger ,etc, etc, you will see what people get real world. I am averaging 20.1mpg and mine is almost 100% stop and go city driving in a 2024 2.3 2wd stx.

I love it though. Great truck

When my 2019 is running slick, without all the overlanding gear hung on it, I see 23-24 mpg. Right now, with all the junk hanging out in the airstream, I'm seeing 15-16 mpg.

Until fairly recently, I haven't been able to drive it much other than on long trips. So, ai don't have a reference on mixed driving or city driving.

Just keep in mind that the mpg estimator/indicator in the vehicle is at best, a general reference. Mine is typically about 1-2 mpg off on the high end. If you want to know the real number, you are going to have to do some math.

2002 4WD Ranger XLT, 155,000 miles, 3.0L gets about 20 mpg mostly in town driving.

My 2021 with a leveling kit, 32" tires and ladder racks got 20.5 on my daily commute.. rural-ish driving. Only a couple stops and 55mph most of the way. On the highway I'd be lucky to average 16mpg at 70.

Oddly enough.. the bronco gets better mileage.. somehow.. it's shaped like a damn brick and has 35" tires.. average 21mpg on the daily commute.
