You're on a forum with some of the best mechanics, fabricators, engine builders, technicians, and automotive enthusiasts that I've ever met. The knowledge here spans decades in every single corner of the automotive industry, and covers nearly every make and model bought and sold within the United States.
We give advice, direction, mentoring, tutoring, and guidance freely, and we do it out of kindness and a shared love of old trucks. You will
NEVER find another forum this free and supportive with information, period. Try your luck elsewhere if you doubt what I say.
The price you will pay for this is banter, b*ll busting, thread drift, clam chowdah in your radio, challenges to nude fights, a lack of a breathalyzer on our keyboards, nude cab swaps, and dumpsters full of adult novelties. Yes, this is how TRS operates.
Our shared style works very, very well; we rarely fail to get someone pointed in the right direction and back up and running. We are very good at what we do, and like to have fun while doing it.
Yes, we are going to harass you a bit. Its our form of welcoming a new person. This is a good sign. Otherwise, we just ignore posts from those that p*ss us off.
Yes, we are going to post off topic sh*t. Most of us know one another rather well, and we tend to have a lot of running jokes.
I dont have a post like that but thank you. Petrobreath suggested spikes. Lol
If you don't like mohawks, fight me. Nude. In North Dakota. At the Railroad.
No birds, though. They are government drones sent to spy on you.
Also, Petrobreath? Been a while since I was ingesting petroleum products.
I have taken to drinking brake fluid in recent weeks.
I'm fine, though. I can stop whenever I'd like.
I just need fabric. Not more problems or distractions.
JoAnn for headliner fabric. I was lucky and had one of the fiberglass headliners in my 1988. I hit the mating surface with resin before re-hanging headliner fabric to stiffen it and provide a better mating surface. Turned out nice, took two days, and was super easy to do. YMMV.
