Synthetic or conventional motor oil. (or syntec blend) What is better, and what do you use?

Me personally I'm a syntec blend kinda guy, because I can never remember what I put in it the time before this.

motorcraft 5w20 blend with a fl400s everytime. anything more is like throwing your money out of the window.

I used conventional on my old car, but think I'm going to use synthetic when it comes time to do the trucks oil.

FL400's? Is that an oil conditioner? Syntec or conventional? Is motorcraft only conventional?

thats the filter part number, motorcraft oil is blended

Conevntional motorcraft 10w30 and an FL1A motorcraft filter.

i haven't seen any conventional motorcraft oil in years. everything around here is blended.

Both my ranger and explorer get 5 quarts Mobil clean 5000 10W30 and a motorcraft FL1A.

The bonneville gets 5 quarts Mobil clean 5000 10W30 and the applicable AC Delco oil filter (it's about 1/4 the size of an FL1A).

The only reason I use Mobil clean 5000 is because it's a high quality conventional that is usually cheap at walmart.

Everything except our 5w20 is conventional oil at the dealership I'm working at.

i use Valvoline synthetic. i want to use motorcraft synthetic but the only place i can find it is at the dealership.

Those chevy cars usually take an FL321 if you are wanting to use a motorcraft filter.

Currently running Royal Purple 10W30, yes it does cost more $8 to $9 a quart. I want to say I have a Pennzoil or Fram filter - can't remember. But I will be doing a change soon, before the 10 yr trip . . .

well for the vue its a wix filter and kendal 5w30 semi syn, and the bII gets a wix 51515 and kendal 10w30 semi syn

The mazda gets 5w20 Mobil 1 synthetic and a k&n (gasp!) oil filter, the Chevy gets 10w30 Mobil 1 sythetic "high mileage" (also w/ k&n oil filter) and the Rabbit gets Mobil Delvac 1300 (cj-4 conventional) and a Bosch filter.

Does anyone have any experience using Valvoline full synthetic? I hear it's pretty good...

just use whatever is on sale at autozone the time i need the oil change seems like mostly quatker stat 10w30 and a stp or fram filter.
my dad uses quaker state synthetic torque power 10w30 in his new gmc with an bosch filter
