I want to get a new shifter knob for my 98 ranger manual and was wondering what you guys have. I might get a .44 grip. What do you think?

I would just like to find an original shift knob for a 5 speed for my bronco II. However, I think the one that's on it is something someone made themselves. I'll have to take pictures of it once I get it home next month. Kind of strange, and doesn't really fit in the hand very well.

i personally like the B&M shift knob with the fist grip i guess youd call it, but seeing as i dont own a manual i obviously dont use one but ive used one in my friends toyota and i like it fits in the hand very well its kind of like a bar perfect size for any guy too, big hands or small hands.

i bought a set of pool balls and drilled them to fit. here's a pic, not the best but it works i guess. they feel great in your hand, they fit perfect. they are pretty much the same exact same size and shape as the fx4 lvl2 shifters but waayy cheaper, plus i think they look cool.

Hurst Shifter with full size 8-ball made from aluminum with the off colored ivory insert... aluminum too.

Made by TM Machine

Got the factory knob, but kunar just gave me an idea for an egg shaped Jack Daniels 8 ball I got burned on. Its raised where the J/D emblem is, way to far outa round to play with. Might make a good shift knob.

I picked up a skull one at the auto store. They're cheaply made and kept breaking (returning it got old) so I JB welded it. Been using it for months now no problem. I think it looks cool.

EDIT: typo

Black Hurst ball with the 5 speed pattern. Oh, it came with the rest of the shifter too :icon_thumby:

Absolutely love my B&M t-handle shifter. It's old school, looks great, and feels great in your hand.

Hello new member dude. This has been posted before. You can use the search function and you will see some neat shifters that were hand made or aftermarket.
