I have a 1998 Ford Ranger and I want to beef it up a little make it more manly. I want to get a lift kit and some bulky BF Goodrich tires. But I can't find a lift kit anywhere. I would like a suspension lift for under $1000. Can someone please help.

You're not going to find a suspension lift for a 98+ less than $1,000. I haven't even seen a used lift go for less than that. Brand new, the 4" Superlift kits are about $1,800 or so.

The only other option for a lift is a 3" body lift. Those run roughly $200 or so.

everyone is doin bodylifts recently cause they are cheap. not a fan but if you like it eh....... and toms right. you will not find a lift for a t-bar ranger for 1000. i believe RCD made a lift for your ranger good luck finding one though they stopped making them

Just crank your t-bars and do a 3 inch body. They don't look bad if you use gap guards do an exhaust so that the stock doesnt look like its saggin.
