Welcome Visitor! Please take a few seconds and I have a 94 ranger 4wd with a 302 and m5od trans hanging in it with a 2 inch body lift helping clearances, the stock manifolds on the 302 will not work without notching the frame and maybee other mods if they will work at all.
I dont want to spend $300 on custom headers made just for this swap. I am on a budget of almost nothing.
Will 5.0 explorer manifolds work?
I might be able to get the manifolds off of an old van with a 302, the drivers side looked like it would work great but the passenger side looked like what i already have.
I also have headers on a blown 302 in a older mustand, i would already have seen if they would work but the car is sunk in the ground in my yard behind at least 10 other cars. If they dont work how hard is it to modify headers?
I have read a thread talking about tri-y headers, but i assume they only work with 2wd, if they work with 4wd that might be another option i think i could afford to buy them.
