Day started with a little ego boost this morning.
I came down at 8:30 to walk Lincoln the second time, and this really nice Kenworth (?) dump truck was parked in front of my house. Unusual because it’s a busy two lane, with a bike lane on either side, so he had to block traffic to stop. It was a pretty sharp truck, waxed up red, stainless inserts in the bed, immaculate stainless wheels. The guy obviously knows trucks.
It was absolutely pouring rain, but then the driver came out. He was obviously a well educated, intellectual gentleman, with an appreciation of fine things, with discerning tastes, no doubt popular with the ladies and in his circles.
He got out to take a picture of the Missing Linc at the top of my driveway.
I’m just glad I didn’t have the Road Ranger out there. He might have wrecked…
