What did you do to your Ranger today? (Part Deux!)

EMS couldn’t stitch up that metal before they left?

🙏🙏🙏
EMS doesn't do stitches. They do gauze and tape and splints.

Thanks. I'm looking forward to having a vinyl floor. I'm not looking forward the the installation. Everything I'm seeing, it's a S.O.B. of a job but I won't have to worry about staining or salt getting encrusted in the light grey carpet anymore.
@sgtsandman I haven't forgotten about this.
Floor is STILL hanging over the tailgate of my trailer.
If the weather cooperates I'll get some pics for you on Wednesday

Thanks. Mine is sitting in the box in the garage. I probably won't get to it until next spring, once it gets warm enough for the vinyl to relax. Any pictures you can provide will be appreciated.

And it may have been a shock when you discovered it, but just take a shower and put on some clean clothes, and just go step-by-step and it will all seem like a distant memory in a day or two.

Or you'll be like Rick a few hours later.... What memory???

Today I... didn't do much. Really. Didnt; sleep for shit last night, that would have required falling asleep before 1am which I didn't manage, then staying asleep until 4am when the alarm goes off, which I also didn;t manage. Fortunately it was a slow day at work, not much to do. Got to get in a few naps at my desk. Get home and not enough energy to tackle much, but got to stay awake so I'll sleep tonight. So sat on my backside catching up on youtube and the forums. Welp, that bed is calling now, hopefully I'll actually fall asleep when I get there.

Tomorrow I'll hopefully be a little more productive. Work will probably be about the same (minus the naps hopefully). Then either home or to my parent's house. Home to work on cleaning out/up the F-250 to hand off to my BiL. To mom's to see about getting the inverter generator running.

Had dad's bigger 3500w generator out at the hunting club this past weekend because it was the only one I could get running on short notice (literally pulled the chord and it fired up). It's overkill for the situation, heavy, and loud. He's got a smaller 2000w quiet inverter generator that would be plenty for pulling the window unit and maybe microwave down there, but I couldn't get it to fire. Got spark, and getting fuel to the carburetor. Not sure if it's getting from the carb to the cylinder, and didn't have time to dig in yet. If it is the carb, I've got to decide if I'm going to spend the time trying to glean it (or money getting another), or if I'm just going to run over to HF and pickup a new one with a 3 year warranty. Wouldn't be bad to have one at my house to run fridge and stuff in event of power outage.
