What did you do to your 2019 and up Ranger today?

No way to slide the RTT forward?

Slide it 18 inches forward... move the awning so it's over the rear door when opened.

I'm sure you have your reasons...

I would have to remove the shark fin antenna. Even with the stubby antenna, I can't move it any further forward without the RTT hitting the antenna.

I’m researching that. I think I found a relocation kit that will work for our trucks.

That was my next question.

Relocate or block up the tent.

Relocation would be fine. I wouldn't want to raise the tent and the center of gravity if I could help it.

I replaced my Softopper with a Wildtop. (It’s basically a ladder rack with a built in soft top.)

Step 1. Remove Softopper and clean the rear window for the first time ever.

I found the TRS sticker I put on the back window and then hid with the Softopper.

Step 2. Assemble rack and install.

Step 3. Install canvas cover.

Step 4. Decide you don’t like how high it sits or the way it mounts. Take it all back apart, remove the lower mounting tubes, reinstall it 1.5” lower.

Step 5. Wait for another day when you can leave it in the sun, to finish installing the crossbars.

I just looked that up. Is the 220# dynamic load limit going to be enough? The 770# limit is static only.

I got a good ol texas windshield crack. Stupid freakin gravel on the roads. Tecas never does any road upkeep. If there is gravel, glass, boards, you are just hitting it and going on. And they dont do crap to truckers with uncovered loads dropping rocks all over, which is the number 1 reason you usually have to replace your windshield once or twice a year here

My tent weighs about 140 lbs and this thing is definitely under rated at 220 dynamic. Judging by the build quantity and materials, I’d say that’s 220 off-roading not standard driving. This thing is designed for the Australian offroad market. I’m not worried.

Cool. I did note it was an Australian product when I looked it up.

I also sent a message to Datin to verify any info they have on my cage since they only list the 1,000 pounds weight limit as a static rating. I'm sure it's fine but having a number to work with would be nice to have

Applied the TheRangerStation.com windshield banner I ordered from Jim.
I sprayed the sticky side and the windshield with Windex so I could position it, squeegeed it with a credit card, and gonna let it sit overnight in the garage with the backing paper on.
Gearing up for the Ford Nationals. Now if the weather would just warm up and quit raining so I can detail it.
