What did you do to your 2019 and up Ranger today?

Ahh yeah that'll do it lol, bummer.
not so much texas, though they are atrying to put laws in place against marijuna and stuff, but the federal government. i work in aviation and failing a drug test is a no-go

Heck, they will nail you if you pop hot for a prescription drug that has been prescribed to you AND you haven't reported to medical. We had one guy who was taking some of his wife's pain pills for something. He popped hot and they gave him the boot.

I finally got all the routine preventative maintenance done on the 2019. The rear brakes have been inspected, cleaned, and lubricated where they need lubricated. And the mud tires have been installed and the TPMS sensors trained.

Next up will be the 100,000 mile items, like the spark plugs, cabin air filter, and coolant change. Even though it's too early for the accessory belt, I'm either going to get one and install it or stash it as a spare for this summer's adventures. Probably the earlier. And replace the belt tensioner and idler pulley(s) while I have the belt off. And ofcourse the already identified front brake replacement needs done. Since Jessica has had to use it a lot, due to vehicle issues, it has had a fairly hard life so far. Home healthcare workers run the ever living crap out of their vehicles as part of their job. So, it needs a little more TLC than a vehicle would normally need.

But I need to get the brakes and tires done on the 2011 first. Thankfully, the need to do list on it is very much shorter.

Cabin Air Filter? Did not know the Rangers even had them. Location?

Behind the glove compartment.
Open glove compartment. Push in the sides and open it all the way so everything inside falls on the floor. Remove small cover (approx 1” x 8”). Remove filter.

The antenna lip mounts got installed yesterday for the GMRS and dual band ham radio antennas yesterday. Today is going to be installing the RTT. If that goes well, the 270 degree awning and it's mounts, and the shower tent and it's mounts will get installed as well.

Drove mine to breakfast. I like driving this truck better than any other vehicles i have ever owned.

I got the RTT and the 270 degree awning on yesterday. Things didn't work out as planned since the RTT had to be shifted to the side in order for there to be enough clearance for the awning (which required unbolting and reinstalling some of the bars on the cage rack).

I'm going to have to come up with a new plan for the shower tent as a result. And since it only stopped raining in the evening, I only had time to verify that the awning was setup correctly. So, pictures will have to come later, weather permitting.

And now that the RTT is in place, I can now install the roof bars on the cab and get an idea what size tray I can fit on the roof for the solar water heater and future plans for a solar panel for the house battery, which I may not have the time and/or money to setup before our overlanding trip.

The stubby antenna did help with moving the RTT forward. It still hangs over the back some but nowhere near as bad as it would have if the factory antenna was still in place.

Finally found numbers on the new 2.3 that comes in the 25 snd newer rangers. It sjust wikipedia but its better than what i have read so far.

Nice of them to finally incoporate port injection back into the engine.

Owned my truck for four years and today I learned that the headlights on Auto setting come on automatically when you turn the wipers on.

I didn't know that either. Cool

I completed the final setup of the 270 degree awning and we had a break in the rain. So, here is a couple of pictures of the setup as it is right now. More is in the build thread.

Jessica is excited for it. Depending on how things go, our normal tent camping trip to a state park might be done in this rather than the usual staked down ground tents. It will help sort out missing items or things in the setup that need tweaked.

No way to slide the RTT forward?

Slide it 18 inches forward... move the awning so it's over the rear door when opened.

I'm sure you have your reasons...
