Water Pump Replacement

I am in the middle of changing my water pump on 2000 Ranger and am having quite a bit of difficulty. The book says to remove the air conditioning support bracket but I can only find one bolt holding the bracket. There is only one bolt that I can see that it is in the way of and I cant get it out without taking it off. any information or tip son completing this would be very much appreciated

IIRC, there are at least 3-4 bolts holding the a/c and power steering bracket on. a few of them come from undernieth and are hidden deep within the bracing of the bracket. get under there with a good light and you'll find them.

alternatly (and the way i reccomend), you can use your favorite grinder to make a tiny recess in the a/c bracket so the water pump will clear...which saves you the headache of trying to unbolt the bracket completely.

Thanks for the advice. The one bolt I coudn't find was hiding behind the tensioner pully.
