i have a 83 ranger that leaks a slight amount of water on the pass. side of the cab in the rear not the front. i have read about a common problem with the front pass side leaking, but the not rear.
Also its not coming from the rear window seal/gasket either, as i have checked that already.

Check out the cargo light gasket at the top rear of cab. They can leak without you seeing where it's originating from. You can fix it from outside; two screws
hold the whole assembly. Just put some clear sealant on the back of the gasket/assembly and screw it back on. This worked for me.:icon_idea:

my 83 does not have one.

Another area to check is the rain gutter. The sealant can dry out, shrink and crack. This allows water to infiltrate. The water can travel in almost any direction so the hole might be at the front of the cab but the signs of water at the back.

This!^ It can go anywhere once it gets inside the seams of the body.
