V8 Ho much dose it cost? HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well that's a relief. My first car was a 94 Mustang GT but it got totaled, which makes me cry, so I always thought it was kind of quaint to drop a 5.0 in my truck. Makes me happy to hear that!

Now I just need to find it

1st....Welcome to the site!
2nd.....Please dont ever use the word "quaint" when describing a V-8 swap.
It's a knuckle busting,wrench throwing,cursing,junkyard scrounging,begging,pleading,crying,wire pulling,grinding,cutting,beating with a hammer freaking adventure!........But when that V-8 comes alive thru uncapped headers in that little truck..............Your jimmy grows 3 inches (sorry........that only lasts for a few minutes till you notice either the anti freeze/oil/trans fluid puddle on the ground)!

And what's also priceless is doing a swap with your teenaged son and his friends. And seeing their reactions when you fire the motor off with a hot cam and uncorked headers for their first time. The thing that REALLY impressed em was when stuff started falling off the shelves in the shop from the exhaust pulses.

ill have about 2300 into mine when all said and done with the mods im doing.

should have 330-360 hp when im done.

i just did mine and i have about 3000 in it and still need p.s. a.c. and some others i put a c6 in mine rebuilt all lines made everything done was 1300 then the motor for 500 and all the parts i bought as far as carb water pump fuel pump oil filter relocator guages all parts for motor and trans were brand new might not have been the cheapest way but i wanted to know it was done right turns out about 200 miles after getting it on the road i got a knock so now i have to get the motor fixed so will probally go bigger cam aluminum heads build it up a little more but my best advice would be make sure your motor and trans are good cause i promise the last thing you want to do after getting it all done is to pull the motor or trans back out

i figure ill have about 3k in it when alls said & done unless i run into some real bad luck a 1000 so far just for donor but i plain on ending up with 2 running vehicles
