- it is easier to fix and understand than "her"
i cant resize them, they are small and i think because from a phone? and i dont know about the camera phones and such. hell i wreck phones at an alarming rate too. so i dont even try to deal with them. i have more from this guy too.
the pics are not on my page i just load them on the thing there. i will redo the page eventually to reflect the trucks current setup when i actually set it back up like it was when i originally finished the swap..
dealing with that web page crap is too much like work. i would rather build a harness or tranny or post here and a few other places then waste the small amount of web time i have working on a web page
ric, as to the diesel, to trial out my 6.5 will only cost me 2-400 bux if that...hell it might not cost me anything just to fit it and see if i like it. its already in my possession from one of my work trucks. i planned on swapping it last week, seems i forgot about my daughters graduation open house up here ect..i thought i had more time....then we are having another open house back in detroit next so i wont even see that diesel project for a few more weeks. i started taking the engine out of the van, it still needs clean and prep just to see if its trustworthy enough like it sits to evaluate it in my ranger. i hate to fix the leaks and put a water pump/balancer ect on it to find out its to weak. that would suck
i think dieselsmoke should drop a 6.2 or 6.5 with a turbo in this thing too if he finds the 302 too hungry for fuel. but the 4bt would be a better bet as you can make alot more RELIABLE power with those lil animals. i dont think the 6.2 is up to the 53's..at least in stock form. a guy by the name of moontank you can find on pirate really did well with a mud setup and the 4bt so ol diesel smoke would be wicked sounding rollin on 53's with a cummins in it for sure. and we know it will work great for mud. tank more then proved that one.
i am just using what is most cost effective for me.
if the 4bt fairy dropped off a powertrain.....it would only be a matter of hours on my next day off before my rig was clattering down the road for sure
and probably bellerin coal from a stack too
