I didn't realize the D35 could be pulled "center section" or "3rd member" + pinion only but while reviewing basic anatomy I found this thread:
ok I went to pick in pull for an axle and the explorer that i got it from had the third member removed, the axle just slid right out. but i dont think its that easy to install right? i mean do i have to mess with the third member to remove the axle?

So looking at the price sheet a "3rd member" is $115, and a complete axle is $115.
If the center section is 44# and the full axle is ~127#

I assume to keep shipping even half reasonable you want the 3rd member + pinion only.. do you want all the races and shims for the pinion?

Is this a firm order or is this a find it and then message you?
Everyone else: it sounded like either there was no chance (skid plate) or spec/ just look to see, do I have that right? Is anyone else making a solid order?
(I got my truck back from the glass shop a couple hours ago and can finally plan life again - they had to hang on to it while ordering a 2nd glass cause the first was not right.. Tomorrow is my plan)
