Brilliant.....:nono:

You've never turbo'd anything in your life and you spewing crap that you once saw on TV?

Look around in the 4.0L section there are a couple DIY turbo setups you can look through. The 3.0L won't be much different. 90% of the problem is turbo sizing and packaging, when trying to twin turbo.

i would sugest just using a single turbo. I would just use a turbocoupe T3. remove the airbox and relocated anything else that is on the passenger side of the motor and you will find a gaping hole to stuff a turbo there. No need to flipp manifolds and or build custom headers simply U turn the exhaust after the Y pipe to route the exhaust back up front to the turbo then squeeze a downpipe back past the motor. Keep the bosot below 10lbs on the stock motor and you should be fine as long as the setup is tuned correctly. You will need a tuning device like SCT/Moates/Tweecer/Sniper along with bigger injectors and fuel pump. A turbo ranger 3.0 TT has been done this one is in brazil.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x5rV7-DlfeM

You want a twin turbo 3.0? Swap in a 2jzgtte from a supra..... lol. Or you can pick up an NA 2jz and turbo it. Much better engine than a vulcan. Sorry I used to have an 89 supra....

jackass i got the info from a guy that spent 5k to twin his 98 ranger 3.0 and said it was a waste of time. told me to be smart and throw in a v-8 and turbo it. dont watch tv its useless all it does is make me non-productive.

your spewing shit you dont know. i have lots of experience on turbo charging and supercharging real engines like supra engines and 2000hp drag engines. worked at a shop building racing and blown street engines. go **** yourself.

This has been entertaining morning reading. Thanks rngrdngr. I always enjoy reading a good BS post.

This is awesome...

some people just want something to say they have it. It may be more cost effective for me to swap in a 4.0 or a 5.0 than supercharge my 3.0 but thats what i want. Twins on a 3.0 will be kinda awkward because you will need tiny turbo's.

Given that you're 20, exactly how long did you work at this shop? And where is this place? I can't find ANY reference to them doing a search.

I curious to know what type of motor a 'supra engine' is.

Is that a manufacturer? or a certain design?

I've never heard of a supra engine.
