any body have knowledge of how to not only change caster/camber pieces. but to also know how to determine which kit or pieces are needed to correct alignment?.........also want to lift front end with taller springs, current spring ht. under load is 12" give or take a bit. if i do spring swap which shocks are needed. Only looking for about 1.5" or maybe 2.0" lift if possible.
For two main purposes going with a 15" tire and also the stance.

To change them you have to undo the pinch bolt that holds the upper balljoint stud. Then you have to remove the camber/caster shims, there is a special puller for removing them, or you can get them out with an air chisel and flat bit in it. To determine which ones you will need you will have to have it on an alignment machine and see how far out you are and then select a shim that has the necessary degrees to it that will bring your camber/caster back into spec. The best bet is to get a set of fully adjustable camber/caster shims, that way it is just a matter of turning them to get the correct amount of camber and caster out of them. There will be no need to get different bushings if you ever change your suspension ride height again.

You can get leveling springs from Skyjacker that will pick up the front end around 1.5 to 2".

found the shim kits at rockauto.com for less than $ 10.00 however about, well "ALOT". do not recall a universal kit. any suggestions as to where i might pick them up? The local parts houses say they have them for 30 + $ a side. while i was thinking at most maybe 30 total.
By The Way Thank You for the info

Look for Ingalls 594, they are a 2 piece, fully adjustable shim.
