So I went to start my truck today it seemed to not have power to the ignition. This has happened a few times before but after several tries the symptom just went away and the truck started fine and all was good. Now it has started acting up again.

Description:
Turn the key forward to acc position. Dash lights and interior lights are faded. The door buzzer is faint. Turn the key and nothing. Turn the key on and off several times and lights are normal and door buzzer strong. Turn the key to start and everything dies again as if I have a dead battery. My battery is good though. I changed the starter solenoid and no change.

Has anyone else's experienced this?

Never mind. The inside of the negative wire had a lot of corrosion. Baking soda and hot water neutralized it and the truck started right up! Just brushing the corrosion off was not enough.

If someone knows how to delete this thread please do.

Good work fixing it.

No reason to delete it, it may help someone else.

Corrosion on battery terminals is usually caused by battery vapor leaking out.
You can get pads, one for each terminal, that go under the cables, these will neutralize this corrosion.
But simply cleaning each terminal and cable when you change the oil is free :)
You should also clean positive terminal if you didn't already
