when i got my bronco it had initially ran and ran decent for about 6 months, leaked oil like crazy and wouldnt start one day so i decided to "tear into it" i rebuilt the engine and when i put the engine back into the vehicle i got a no turn over at key. my first initial thought was a ground issue but ive redone the main grounds and checked them multiple times, even with a multimeter.
so ive replaced so far my ignition switch, terminal wires, NSS, ive done an accuspark swap but still nothing, i dont believe the rod is broken in my steering column as my key turns fine and comes out fine.
i can turn my engine over by the starter solenoid, but im not getting any spark.
i realized i had made a mistake when installing my accuspark, as its a ballast coil and i installed it without the ballast. my coil is supposed to read over 1.4 ohms to be good. mines reading at about 1.3-1.2. With that being said has anyone had any experience similar to mine? no spark or turn over at key?

gonna go ahead and change the coil and solenoid and start from there

Check for power at the starter relay on the PS inner fender.

It even doesn't need a coil to crank.

There is a signal wire that runs from the keyswitch to the relay to make it engage to turn over the engine. If you don't have any power there while cranking your problems for that are upstream. Since you don't have any fire it very well could be the keyswitch.

But since you have had it all apart who knows.

Thats fair, I believe it was the live feed wire from the positive terminal that had the fusible link was blown. I’ve replaced that with a new fusible link, noticed my coil is blown due to a user error. It’s puffed up and is reading below the specs for ohms. The old ignition switch I took off fell apart in my hands and looked burnt up. So maybe I got a bad new one out of the box? I’ve replaced my wires from the positive to the starter, I’ve replaced my main ground wires. I’m thinking I either have a problem further up with that wire that was blown, or a bad tumbler.

I'm going to start by doing some testing with a test light on that ignition wire, get a new starting solenoid and coil because that’s blown. Is there any tests I can do on the tumbler? It seems to spring okay
