TTB D28/D35 Pic request

Ill get a pic of my truck to you when I can. I would do this if I could but have no idea how to even do something like this.

Im glad to have gotten rid of that d28. If I didnt get my d30 for free, I would have done a d35 swap with lift and whatnot.

A D35 is on the list, but really I have yet to have a reason to justify it. In 11 years the only thing the D28 has asked for is brakes. I do have a spare D28 that is on the front section of the frame of my parts truck... I have faith the second I scrap it all heck will break loose. I have yet to do much in 4wd with the 302 yet though.

That you could :D

Good luck at your car shows :icon_thumby:

Thanks, it isn't much of a show truck yet though. Basically it just a less rusty than most Ranger with a different engine. Redoing the bodywork is on the list too...

If i had a v-8 ranger and it was 4wd.....no mercey.

I have never really been able to let myself go in a vehicle like that. I have been mudding and whatnot but my goal is always to come back in one piece. If I think I should go around, I go around. Power doesn't come on hard unless the wheels are straight... stuff like that. Doesn't matter what, I hate intentionally hurting a machine especially one that I have a lot of time and/or money in.

That combined with the fact that being a parts guy in an ag shop, everybody would know whose green Ranger that was tearing up the mud roads... and heaven help me if I got stuck good and needed help.

On top of all that, whavever my truck can do in the mud, 9 times out of 10 my tractor will do better and do something while it is there... like drag said mud out of the lot. If I have the chains on my only worry is keeping it upright, it will go where I point it.

I love taking my truck out and giving it hell. But I know I have limits, so I have to obey by them. But I didnt build mine to climb a mountain, just to go mudding/trial driving. As far as me putting a v-8 in mine, not anytime soon or that I know of, so for the sake of my truck, I do give her mercey and not take her to the fullest, its my DD and can afford to have it out of commision due to stupidity.
