TRS Banner Across North America!

I have to say let it flow at the pace its going, I really don't want it to leave Colorado till everyone in this state has signed it, and some may not all be able to meet in the time that Airborn drives through. Having it fly through the last 4 states is not the way it was intended to be.

I'll hand it off to you and be on my way- no problem here.

If you are going that way anyway I think the run to Colorado probably won't hurt. He has the same problem I had up here, there is nobody between here and there.

I've been thinking and I agree with Hanzo Steel- let it flow how ever it flows, so I will not get the banner from DangerRanger.

You are the only way I have to get it to Colorado, I'm sorry but with school and everything, there is no way I'm driving 7 hours one way to meet hanzo.

So if you decide not to pick it up, it will be getting mailed to the next person.

Just hand it off to the next person in Colorado.

The banner has travelled to many miles to get mailed to the next member. The main goal is to hand carry the thing from one end of the country to the next, and come in to contact with as many members as possible along the way.

There has to be a way to hand it off to someone.

Its not cool to have and end of year dead line with this much enthusiasm, just let it roll around the 48. If there is no more signing space it gets sent to Jim in exchange for a fresh TRS Banner II. If it dont get into Canada by spring then Jim sends an International banner TRS Banner III that goes though Canada to us up here in Alaska, we hand off to Hawaii and then to RSH in Honduras. Of all my years here at TRS our friend RSH is my favorite member and he has contributed so much to all of us, to not include him would be a crime!!

I agree. (*singingly*) Let it FLOW, let it flow, let it flow!

As far as an "end of the year" deadline, I just say go with it. It's picked up a lot of steam and (as stated earlier) "enthusiasm," and the Banner will be in the hands of trusted members.

+1 on RSH being included, i can't say that i can back him as much as you do, just for the reason i haven't talked to him as much, but any posts i have seen him make have been a great asset to this forum, and the entire forum would be at a loss without him

Hand-to-hand passing is essential, BUT I'll second that and think an exception can be made for a family member like RSH. Come on...Central America? Yea...no one wants to make that drive.

actually, if we were to do what someone else said about through the rest of the states, into canada up to alaska then hawaii, this could be done... there are lots of cruises from alaska to central america, i'm sure one could be found that hits hawaii and central...

Sorry, that post was just me being frustrated with all my plans to hand off the banner falling out on me and not happening. If it comes down to it, I will make the trip to colorado myself, but it will just have to be a few weeks before I could make that trip.

So no it will not be mailed and sorry for the rant in ealier post.
