Hi fellas,

My AL4D is pretty fine except at "coldstarts" being slightly slow to engage.

Still as preventative maintenance and to squeeze out some better performance I'm planning on getting a shift kit and new filter.

2 questions:

1: will these parts be all I need next to the tools?

2: will I be able to do this without dropping the trans = so is this possible with only the transmission oilpan/filter taken out & working from under the car including installing the shiftkit?

IT's for my 1994 3.0 automatic Ranger Splash. I have the Haynes repair&maintenance guide.

Me and my dad are a bit handy assembling and fixing engines etc

tnx
