I need help identifying this transmission.
It was given to me and I was under the impression it was out of a 80s Bronco II (A4LD)

Looking at it now, it looks more like a AODE or 4R70W.

I can’t find any casting number other than on the t case adapter (pictured)

Anyone familiar with these transmissions that can identify?

I don't know, but it looks to have a removable bellhousing, and afaik all the ones you named are integral.

Could be a C5 out of an '80's BII (assuming 2.8L), I don't know what they look like though...

Basically like a C4 so not like this

I think it looks exactly like an A4LD?

That is my vote, looks like it has the 2.8/2.9/4.0 bellhousing

Isnt the 90 in the part number the year it was built?

Nope, a C5 was a C4 with a centrifugal clutch inside the convertor.
I think it's a later C3 derivative like a A4LD 4R44 or 5R55. Are there any other numbers on it?

It has the old park/neutral switch and no big plug down by the shifter arm.

Rusty is right that it seems to have a '90+ tailhousing on it, so it doesn't make sense for it to be all-original to an '80s truck, but I don't see anything else weird going on.
