Transmission Identification

Hello. I recently acquired an '86 BII. It was originally an auto but it was swapped to a 5 spd at some point. The gear selector is sloppy and kinda twists. I'm assuming I need a shifter repair kit. How do I identify which trans is actually in the truck? I'd like to order the correct parts the first time. It does have the angled gear selector if that's a tell. Thanks.

I think it's a FM146 but I'd like to verify for sure.

The above link has some interesting information but nothing to really help figure out what you have. But after a bunch searching I found a website that provides some descriptions. Looks like I have the FM145. Here's the website I found. https://core-shifters.com/collections/shifters-for-ranger

And it also looks like there are no inexpensive fixes. Sweet.
