Tranny info

ok im getting a 85 bronco2 from my grandfather and it dosnt have a tranny and he dosnt know anything about it so im trying to figure out what tranny I need to get for it

On the driver's door label it should tell you a transmission code, depending on the code here's what you need:

1985-1987 Toyo Koygo TK5 (Code 5) 5-Speed
1985-1987 Mitsubishi FM145 (Code D) 5-Speed

Just an FYI I found this on the bronco 2 section of this site up on top the Library link in this section you will find a ton of info on the bronco 2. I just picked up an 84 B2 a month ago, its in pretty bad shape body wise but after a few little engine and carburetor tweaks it runs awesome.

The only axles on the stock bronco 2's were the Twin Traction Beam style. For what my Bronco 2 is ever going to be used for its good enough for me.
