Torque Monster Headers ?

does anybody recommend torque master headers for a V-8 install?

on 98 and up.. only thing that fits properly..
I'm running them on a 400 hp 302.. had a little work done on them, but fitment out of the box is great!

It took me 5 months to receive mine. I ordered them in April and just recently received them. But it was definitely worth it. After about two and a half months I got on his ass every week or two to make them and he finally did and shipped them out. I would order again.

The ebay headers seem to have a leaking problem from the posts I've seen.. those are the obx , Torque Monster knockoffs with cheap flanges , well.maybe cheap isn't rhe word but thin

Wow - the OBX headers usually are a lot cheaper than that. I wouldn't even consider them at that price.

I have a set of the OBX on my 5.0 (still on the stand) and pretty sure I will have to modify the front runner on the driver side to actually get that flange even remotely close to sealing.

Is the flange just not flat? I have a set in a box but haven't attempted to check them. Stupid blown engine...

EBay headers are junk. Spend the extra $300 and get quality. So glad that I ordered torque monster. Regardless of the fact that I had to wait a long time. The quality was worth it

He replied to every message I sent him. Took a little while, but did reply and was honest with me. He is a one man show, has a life and a business. Headers are his back burner business. He doesn't when he has time, and I don't blame him. Yes they are expensive, and yes the wait is 3 months at least mine was five months. But like I said I'm happy and he kept in touch with me and he was honest. I would rather give my money to an American any day compared to China.

I bought a set when they were only $495 and have had no issues with them. Fit was good and they never leaked. Maybe I just got lucky.

Look around.. you can get those knock offs cheap used.. BUT.. they are selling them for a reason..
THEY LEAK.
