I have an 01 4.0 4x4 and awhile back I had the rear main seal replaced and in the process the shop doing the work claims that 2 of the studs on my torque converter had messed up threads due to the wrong size nuts being on them. The shop claims they were able to recut the threads, well anyways when I got the truck back it didn't run the same,is low on power and doesn't really put the power to the ground plus the mileage is down around town. I'm convinced they swapped the converter with a used one and I'd like to put a new one in. It had a Dacco TC in it and I didn't have trouble with it,but I've heard their reliability is questionable. This truck is my daily driver, I'm considering going with a company called winners choice, or Performance Automotive Transmission Center. Any suggestions are appreciated
