Have a 1985 Bronco. Duraspark swapped it, looking for more info about the vacuum switch from anyone who’s done it.
So the jegs vacuum switch is a good replacement for the Gm one. But on the duraspark forum it states to drill a hole in the back of the trans. The jegs switch does not look like it would thread into anything. Any info on this?

What are you using this vacuum switch for on a 1985 Bronco II?

Guessing he's intending on using it for torque converter lockup.

I think most other people who did this used an electronic physical switch.

I see, the convertor lock-up is electrically activated, and the mid 88 up units the 3-4 shift was electrically activated.
