I've got a '87 Ford Bronco II with a 2.9 V6.
Never had any hoses leaking until I put a 2" bodylift in. Now my Top radiator hose keeps rubbing through against the alternator pullel/fan. I'll realy appreciate some advise on a fix please if anybody has run into this problem

Many Thanks

Are you sure one of the motor mounts is not going out, allowing engine to move more than usual.

I added a hard plastic sleeve over heater hose where it passes behind the alternator.
I picked it up when looking for another part at auto recyclers, bet you could find one for your size hose, it looks like wire loom but harder plastic
Another idea would be to use a piece of stiff wire or flat metal to hold the hose in the shape you want and wire tie it to the hose.

Thanks RonD, I did check my motor mounts but did not see anything that worried me.I'll have to look closer then and double check. Thanks for that advise on the hose too.
