ok so i got a 93 from my grampas neighbor but hte tires are shot... whast the largest tires i can put on there with out needing a lift or breaking something?

as of right now i have 235/70 R15... what does each number stand for? i got the R 15 but what is the others...

thanks

I'm not sure how big you can go with tires but I'll explain the tire info. The "235" is basically how far it is from one side of the tread to the other. A "185" (small car tire) is smaller than a "235" (truck/suv) tire. The "70" is how far it is from the rim to the top of the tire. A "40" would be considered a low profile tire, as an "80" would be considered a truck tire. Hope this helps!

235 means the tread is 235mm wide, the 70 is sidewall profile which would be 70% as tall as the tread is wide (70% of 235mm). The R means its a radial tire and the 15 is the rim diameter.

You should be able to 31x10.50R15's stock.

know of any good spots to get cheap tires... also... how do you re do the speedo for it? a guy told me if i went one size over that i would go 55 when my speedo said 50...
