Tire clearance with coil spacers or leveling kit

Hey everyone. I'm a little new here. I'm looking to get a ranger anywhere from a 93 to 97 ranger. I want to put 33x10.5 on it but i know they will rub if i don't lift it. I know the newer rangers can fit 33x10.5 with a t bar crank. would i be able to fit them with a 2" coil spacer or any other kind of leveling kit. also if anyone has pictures of this kind of set up post em on here. I love to see what you guys drive.

I don't know if this helps, but this is a thread I started a few weeks ago with lots of useful info posted. I got my washers for 12 bucks.

That's fine, either way will work. I opted for washers because they are steel rather than poly-urethane or aluminum.

Go with F150 springs.

save the money and work.....stay away from the poly spacers on Ebay, i went this route, they didn't even last 6 months

have since gone to the washers..... still goin strong way longer than 6+ months....

here is a pic of my truck with 32x11.50's.....you may get more lift than me cause of my heavy winch and bumper combo...

I could always go with the aluminum spacers and stud extenders for strength but i'm not really planning on off roading that much so i dont know how strong i need them. but sweet ride railman. Is that just with the washers in the front, nothing in the back right? do you get any rubbing in the front?

also would i need longer shocks with the spacers

Ravo, you'll be fine with factory shocks.

Nice pics Railman, that convinces me doing washers is the right thing for me to do. Did it do any damage to your truck? It looks like they split pretty bad.

Stay away from the poly spacers. Mine came out in pieces like shown above. Washers or aluminum spacers only...

yeah, they split pretty bad....but didn't do any damage...

i just noticed my truck had alot more forward "rake" after a wheeling trip....got to inspecting and found the spacers all split up....this after haveing them less than 6 months....

well, live and learn i guess

Crap I just installed poly spacers..... I hope mine dont kerplode that soon. Luckily things seem to last longer in Southern Oregon.

Yes....anytime you change ride height you must get an alignment.
