The manual does not list the original equipment plug number - why? Did the truck originally come with platinum or iridium? I have 100,000 miles but I don't know if the plugs in there now were original or not. What would be the best choice and what did the truck come with?

It came with double platinum, use double platinum or iridium. It will chew up single platinum or copper plugs very fast. Motorcraft or Autolite brand.

I only see four spark plug wires on the 2010 2.3. Why do some sites list 2 plugs per cylinder?

The old 2.3 Lima engine had 8 spark plugs (Pre 1998). You have a 2.3 duratec, completely different engine.
