I was wandering what i could do to make the gas pedal smooth again. Im thinking the cable has alot of rust build up in the cable and housing but im not sure what to do to make it smooth again so i dont have to punch it to get going again. Also does any one know where i could get a new throttle cable kit and how much it is if i have to replace the cable?

Not sure what it costs...but getting one to work freely again after it has had rust and gunk in it is pretty time consuming, & typically yeilds only a short duration where it needs it again or it breaks and replacement is needed.

salvage yards are a good source for used ones...most parts stores should have new ones.

place/post a "wanted" ad here on TRS....pretty sure you'll get a responce.
