what about Lincoln, will they still be a car company, or are the going all suv too. I would assume that ford will still produce "cars" under the Lincoln moniker in America, because of the world market, they will still make cars, just not for American markets.

Agree...HUGE MISTAKE. People are already buying crap they don't want because there isn't much of a choice as it is. I have two friends that bought Ford Escapes because they couldn't find anything else and they weren't much more than a focus. Lol. The Escape is one of the ugliest vehicles on the road. Plus it is the fasting corroding from what I have read.

If I remember correctly, the reason the scrapped the Explorer Sport Trac is because a fully loaded one was into the price range of the F150. So the ranger is just the Explorer Sport Trac replacement.

Ford and Lincoln have started splitting away, kind of the way that Ram was spun off from Dodge.

Yeah first time i heard a commercial refer to it as "lincoln motor company" i had to google to see if they broke from ford.
