Hey there I'm rebuilding the engine out of my 94 mazda b2300 and I ordered rings for a 94 ranger with 2.3. I was under the impression the rings would be the same being they are both 2.3 lima engines. But the rings I order seem to be loose. The block is bored .030 over and the ring rings and pistons are .030 over

Did you trial fit the rings in the bore and check end gap?
When pistons and rings are not in the bore they are loose on the piston like your pic.
You will need a piston ring compressor in order to install the pistons in the bore without hanging up on the deck.
