Ok nice and simple. My truck is a 86 blew rod heads cracked. I bought a remanufactured head (83-88, description on add) I had a spare block that is a dual plug block not sure of year. I want to say 94 since that was the only timing belt that fit perfect in teeth. I got everything to bolt on except 1 bolt from intake manifold. Final things I need are where can I put my power steering pump and swapping the coil pack to distributor. Any help is greatly appreciated

I tossed the PS on mine...I'm going to assume you have the 2.3...because it drains too much power...and the distributor shouldn't matter because it goes in the block not the hesd...

However...the mustang 2.3 is similar but has a different alternator/power steering setup that might work for you...

much of the mods/swap is trial and error...but something like mixing newer heads has probably been done by a very select few...might be better posting in the 2.3 forum

edit: ooops...looks like you already did...so...did you try to install the 8 plug head? Your last post said you were going ahead...
