But,are holding off on them because they may turn out to be a nightmare?

I'll start:

I need to change some bulbs in my instrument cluster in the 1994 Ranger.
Just have the godaweful feeling that this would turn into a can of worms for me.:icon_confused:

My rear diff is howling (at only 48k miles no less :annoyed: ). I'm hoping it's a rear wheel bearing but I suspect it's a pinion bearing. Currently exploring my options (rebuild myself, have a shop rebuild, get a junkyard axle, etc). I will further diagnose this weekend.

Mine has nothing to do with nightmare to fix. Mine has to do with lack of money to fix.

I have no light(s) behind the speedo/ tach. I did replace the bulbs but no dice. Also putting off installing Lock Right 1830, Hurst shifter, honeycomb grille, and and and-

D60 front end, due to funds and a place to do it.

Sent from the road while ignoring traffic

Upper control arms/ball joints, lower ball joints, serpentine belt, shocks (due in tomorrow), alignment, lube slip yoke, driver's seat rehab, coolant flush, swap for Explorer leaf springs. So much to do, so little cash. Time and a place to do it, I've got.

Yup,that's a good list,bmerr98.
I have to replace a rear bumper and a left rear leaf spring broke.
Maybe a spring time job.

Soft Chrome Edelbrock valve covers leak.

Needs aligned and a tad more front lift so the tires don't rub... of course I would rather pay to align a D35 than my D28...

Needs a light switch so the left gauge pod lights up all the time (sometimes it does, sometimes it don't)

Needs some kind of flooring around the shifter hole to seal out engine heat. (I have a new carpet kit but with a 5 speed swap in the works I don't want extra holes in it...)

Need to finish my new tailgate before the one cable that is still attached to the current tailgate breaks. The latch that the DS cable mounts to is ripped free of the tailgate.

Need to rewire the grille guard lights and I have. I disconnected them for the engine swap and never got around to redoing them.

Need to flip the top tube of the rollbar over to attach work lights for the bed and behind the truck.

I would like to put a real set of headlights on the thing, even the "extra bright" sealed beams leave a lot to be desired.

Header to exhaust pipe leak - going to attack tonight.

I have "premium" rear speaker boxes with 6.5" speakers in them to mount behind the seats.

Need to hook up trans temp gauge.

Need to get better spring retention plates and cut excess threads off of axle u-bolts.

And then I only need to replace most of the sheetmetal and repaint it and I will be all done with it. :yahoo:

Little things here and there

My right shoulder. Whole arm hurts most of the time, goes numb sometimes. Was just at the doc today about it again, and he confirmed my worst fears. They need to do a nerve test and then it it's where I think it is the surgery to fix it could have me out 6 to 10 weeks.

The 6 to 10 weeks part is why I have been living with the pain for almost 2 years, but it has been brought to my attention by my wife, my pastor, a few of my friends, and a few members here that I have been too irritable lately. It's mostly due to the arm.

Get to the bottom of my blinker issues, get new tires for all my rigs. BII needs water pump, valve lash adjustments, axles swapped, motor and tranny swapped, build a roll cage, Alignment done, bearings greased. Car needs an air filter, bumper, fender, grille, and better brakes(currently less than a year old, but I'm not impressed with the autozone brakes at all).

The list goes on and on....

I need to tear in to/replace like my entire front suspension. I also need to clean my engine bay.... Not that hard but I need the pressure washer pulled out and some of that mud has been in there all summer long....

Replace the rusted body panels on the passenger side, remove all the dents, sand down and repaint. Then, onto the interior, haven't decided what to do with that, I really don't want carpet in it again, but the bare metal floor has got to go. Exhaust system still needs replaced (saving up for that right now). Fix whatever is leaking water into the cab on the passenger side kick panel area thought it was the door seal but it must be something else as the door seal looks to be in great shape. Then at some point replace the sagging headliner.
