The Titanic ; 1991 Explorer 4 door


didnt know ARB had a winch bull bar for 1 gen exploder/2nd gen ranger. Or did you fab brackets or somethin?
 
they don't make one for the 1st gen. Its off a 95-04 tacoma. we rebuilt the brackets and was going to have to cut fenders for it but it curves out in all the right spots to miss the fenders. the rings on the front were welded on by the person before me so i may take them off since there are D-ring mounts below them.

and mike, thanks for sending me the dimensions but this was ALOT easier and cheaper than building one. and its the same style i wanted...

that bumper looks sick on there what did you do with your old one?
 
yeah kemical its comin along... Oh and blue... they are through the fenders...

Update for this month... My transfer case went out... wouldnt stay in 4wd, shift motor was messed up and i had an electrical gremlin in my auto 4wd.

yesterday i installed a manual t case in my truck and i'm back in 4wd again!!!

yay

progress last night and today...

Last nights progress!

not too bad, an hour or two and a couple 9" bi metal blades... it only slowed down when i hit a BUNCH of bondo from a previous owner, like 1/4" thick bondo.

i chose not to cut my fenders yet. my sliders are just long enough to fit in the main body part. i may cut them later and make a L bracket to mount the fender to.
