ive done both bias and radial, no issue's with either. ri'm workin on my 37's right now that are bias. take's me between 1 to 1.5 hour's per tire depending on the pattern. the one's pictured took me bout an hour and a quarter due to the amount of turning involved and amount of rubber removed. the 37's are takin bout an hour cuz i'm just removing to regain a little tread depth and doin a little tuning while i'm at it.

However might need to check you local law's as it might be illegal to run a cut tire on the road. however even if it is legal and you happen to blow a tire causing an accident legal or not could be in a whole world of hurt physically, financially, and depending on severity, mentally.

Cut tires or not if I were worried about so thing like that I would have left it stock... Just the risk you have to take...

I'm not gunna cut that deep, just enough to get me going for a while until I can build some cash up

i dont know if they were bias i think i remember the guy i got them from saying they were bias ply but then i looked at then later and they were radials. to be honest i never really cared if they were bias or not $100 for 4 36x14.50 swamper with 80
% tread left i didnt argue

i know your not gunna believe it...but a guy on c-list saw my add and wanted just the tires, tried to talk him out of it he came and looked at them and wanted them bad...

so i sold them lol he mounted my 36's and dismounted the 5 35's all by hand and gave me $50 bucks for them so i did alright lol

i threw in the other 3 matching tires too, he was a cranker for sure. wasnt no talking him out of it but thats fine i wanted to keep the 16" wheels anyways to put back on the expo
